Mediation

Mediation

Sometimes not everyone gets on so you can be trained how to deal with this situation or can use an Kentish HR as an external mediator.

Mediation is a confidential form of dispute resolution. It involves an independent, impartial person helping two or more individuals or groups reach a solution that is acceptable to everyone. The aims of mediation are to restore and maintain the employment relationship and prevent future problems.

“Good work and well done on the mediation, much better to have a soft resolution.”

Mental Health

Mental Health

Raise awareness in the workplace and keep doors open for dealing with staff who may appear to be suffering. Staff will have pressures in life both from within work and outside of work but when issues start to affect their work it can be good to have an impartial person to speak to who is not their line manager for fear of judgement in the workplace.

Kentish HR can provide a Mental Health First Aider to hold support meetings with staff. Meetings will provide a confidential setting and signposting where staff can go for support outside the Company where required.

“Anita deals with people’s issues and problems with an empathetic and structured approach.  I can certainly see changes in their behaviour and general attitude once they have been to see her and this has definitely been a benefit to the company.”

Testimonials

“As an SME it’s hard to find concise and independent HR advice. There are many large companies offering services with huge repositories of online resources that are incredibly time consuming to navigate and advice is tied to insurance policies. We needed a trusted adviser to interpret our needs and provide advice on best practice. Having someone on hand with Anita’s experience has been an enormous support during the challenging economic climate we find ourselves in."
